Happy Holidays!

Happy Holidays! I can't believe how long my hair has gotten, although I did cave and had the back cut but I'm going for an asymetrical hairstyle so I left the sides long still. I love my new cut and I am going to continue letting the sides grow. It has been 14 wks of growth so I'm happy its at least showing some progress. Well, here are some new pics, let me know what you think.

9 weeks and counting

Its been 9 weeks since my last haircut and so far my hair doesn't look too bad, its looking rather good considering its pretty shaggy at the moment. I have discovered one thing along my journey of growing my hair out is that I can go without a blow dryer every day and I don't look so bad with my hair curly. On days I don't feel like straightening my hair out, I take a little mousse and put it in my damp hair and use a blow dryer just to get the wet feeling out of it and tip my head upside down and scrunch it and wha-la! I get the touseled messy hair/curly hair look. I am enjoying the process of growing out my hair so far and here are some pics. Its been 4 weeks now since I posted my last pics on here and it doesn't look like its grown too much but doing good. Happy hair day everyone :)!

Hair today, maybe gone tomorrow

I decided just last night that it was time for a change.........of my hair that is. I have had the same pixie cut style for 6 yrs now and I am stuck in a rut. I don't want to be the woman who has the same hairstyle when she dies lol, so its time to grow it out and see what I can become. I am expecting a lot of days where I feel ugly and my hair doesn't do what I want it to do but in the end, I know I will feel amazing and look beautiful! So, just so you can get an idea of what my hair looks like as of today, here is a photo I took this a.m., not my best look but here it is. Here are some side views too..........

Hello World, its a new me!

Hi, I’m Diane and I’m a married mother of 3 sons and I have been married 22 yrs to the most awesome, supportive, loving man in the entire world. Most women say that about their husbands though right? He is patient and supports me in all that I do and I couldn’t have gotten anyone better for me. Anyways,  I decided I would start a blog since everyone is doing it lol, why not follow the trend right? I have so many thoughts on things I do and decided I needed to put them down in writing. Back to my wonderful children, Andrew is 21 yrs and is married and Skyler is 16 yrs and is home with me and is spoiled rotten cause he is my baby and last one at home. Then there is our sweet baby Trevor, he died 10 yrs ago in infancy at 10 days old but is never far from my thoughts.
Well, let’s get this party started and hope you enjoy it, and if not, well I just have an awesome blog for me to read haha. Tah tah!
